FAQ (Frequent most asked questions) - International

Who can join?

Churches and groups such as cell groups, bible study groups, youth groups, ladies/ men's groups, and special divisions (health).

That signpost members/newcomers back to the main Church.

Do you need a permanent building and storage space?

No, this is flexible around your current set up. Looprun Response Services means the items are to be in an out from store to distribution to help people in need within your community. If items are stored then it means that a person in need is not getting access to available free resources.

This is for outreach. The donated items can be brought back to the church/ community group venue for distribution straight away. If there are items leftover then to go out to outreach locally. Such as a homeless shelter, youth hostel, care home, supportive housing, soup kitchen, orphanage, and widow/widowers.

We are looking for a venue/ or looking to change it?

We have a free location match service for venue hiring. This is available to those who sign up to Looprun In Store: Click here

What is a DP (Distribution Point)?

A nominated church headquarter/ zonal/ regional location used for temporary in and out monthly storage. For bulk donated items such as non perishables, toiletries, clothing, gifts/ toys and electrical devices. A church branch/ cell group will be assigned access to a local DP location.

Can I introduce other branches/ cell groups? Yes, the more branches/ cell groups the greater the impact. Looprun provides a bespoke response service. Therefore we match free resources to any church/ cell group internationally.

How often do I need to collect and distribute donations? It is flexible (weekly, fortnightly or when you can within the month). For international signups (outside the UK/USA) this is monthly.

Looprun does not refuse people for food donations. This is a free and confidential support service with no voucher or limit.
