Who can apply for volunteering? Students (over 18 years of age), a person on benefits/ low income, employees and the general public.

What is a sustainable volunteer? A volunteer who collects donated items and distributes to local people in need, projects and be sustained too.

Where does the donations go after collections? To local projects including care homes, supportive housing and community projects agreed by Looprun.

How long is the training? 45 minutes reading online.

What does the volunteer starter pack include? Hi-vis vest, access ID for mobile phone, training and booking portal including supportive services.

Do I have to sign up annually? No, volunteering is ongoing

What does the student volunteering include? Hi-vis vest, access ID for mobile phone, training and booking portal including supportive services. Industry related mentorship and reference to support employability. 

Can I volunteer for more that 2 hours a week? Yes we work around your availability

Can I receive a reference? Yes, from the 2nd collection or event.

Is there progression? Yes, you can become a Mentor Ambassador to help impact other volunteers
